Articling with Bacchus

We provide one of the few intensive corporate and securities law articling experiences in Vancouver. Our articling students are given substantial responsibilities, handling their own files and interacting closely with clients.

In most cases, our students are involved in the process of taking a company public, from start to finish. They assist clients with incorporations, minute book set ups, annual and quarterly report filing, finance agreements, mergers and acquisitions, registration statements, communications with securities regulators and stock exchanges and dispute resolution.

We offer a salary competitive with that of most Vancouver firms, provide a full salary during PLTC attendance and pay all PLTC fees.

We have regular social activities with staff and clients such as lunches, dinners, receptions and special events.

Please contact Penny Green at pgreen@bacchuscorplaw.com if you have any questions about employment or partnership opportunities at Bacchus.

Articling positions

We have no plans to hire an articling student for the 2017-2018 articling year.

Qualifications and Application Process

We are looking for candidates with an interest in securities law or finance. A background in business or accounting, though useful, is not required. Our lawyers have strong communication and analytical skills and possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

If you fit these criteria, please forward your application, including cover letter, CV, transcripts and a sample of your writing to Lindsey Heidrick at lheidrick@bacchuscorplaw.com.
